The main events at this conference included a plenary session with keynote speakers, Cythia Enloe (Clark University, Massachusetts, USA), Lynne Segal (Birkbeck College, University of London) and Ailbhe Smyth (University College Dublin), and a roundtable discussion on 'Women's Studies in Conflict' with representatives from academia, political parties and community groups.
