Abstract

The operation of a modern farm is on the verge of significant changes. Almost every piece of farm machinery is either instrumented to control and optimize its operation or is in the process of being instrumented. Low cost microprocessor technology, wireless communications and in many cases MEMs devices are at the heart of this.
