Abstract

This paper presents a distributed wireless system tomeasure transient electromagnetic field in powersubstations. The system enables cooperative multi-nodemeasurement, flexible data acquisition, powerful datatransmission capability, and easy interface to computercontrol system. In particular, through incorporating awireless trigger function this system could help evaluate the transient field's effect on other control signals bysimultaneously measuring these signals' conditions and thetransient electromagnetic field.
