Abstract

Purpose: to investigate the incidence, clinicopathological features, treatment and survival of patients with Wilms Tumor (WT) during a 15-year period in a Paediatric Oncology Department of a tertiary hospital. Method: All children with WT were identified among 786 patients treated in our department between January 1, 1993 and December 31, 2008. Patient files were reviewed and the following data were recorded: gender, age at diagnosis, clinical presentation, pathology reports, treatment, follow-up and outcome.
