Abstract
We present the fabrication and optical performance of SU8 waveguide vertical couplers. By combining laser lithography and grayscale lithography we achieved 45-degree SU8 waveguide vertical couplers with a large transparency range and low optical loss, ideal for advanced fiber to chip coupling methods.
