Abstract

The Government's Consultation Paper "Water and Sewerage in Scotland : Investing for our Future" was published in November 1992 and invited submissions, with a deadline of 29 January 1993. Despite this relatively short time period, around 4800 submissions were received by the Scottish Office, an indication of the importance attached to the issue by individuals and organisations in Scotland. This paper reviews these responses.
