    Abstract

    The objective of this research was to compare and contrast violence against women in rural and urban settings. Areas of interest included: demographic and socio-economic background of respondents; prevalence of violence/abuse; types of violence/abuse; helpseeking; access and availability of services. The research was conducted between May 2008 and May 2009.
