Abstract

Implementation of energy conservation measures in buildings can extend our use of finite resources while simultaneously reducing our impact on the environment. This presentation looked at using TRNSYS to obtain a performance comparison of commercial SDHW systems. TRNSYS is a simulation program primarily used in the fields of renewable energy engineering and building simulation for passive as well as active solar design.
