Using learner agreements to support the student experience: clarifying and managing expectations with learner agreements

Research output: Digital or non-textual outputs › Web publication/site

Abstract

This week Abdul Sharif leads our Micro-CPD by talking in this video about learner agreements. He talks about the purpose and benefits of using the agreements as well as his own practice and how he has constructed and used learner agreements to support his students.

In these uncertain times, we think learner agreements help manage expectations between staff and students, and provide a basis for communication about expectations.

Abdul has kindly agreed to support anyone who would like to implement learner agreements through sharing a learner agreement template or sharing his MyPlace set-up. If this would help you please get in touch with Abdul at [email protected]

Don't forget to let us know in the comments below if you use learner agreements already or if you have any questions about using learner agreements in your practice.
