Abstract

A short educational film drawing on research evidence on challenges in working with people living in care homes who are developing passive suicide ideation. This film shows interaction between Jeffrey, a care home resident and Stef, a carer following concerns about Jeffrey's recent withdrawal. The second scene shows Stef consulting her manager. This film is for training purposes only and should be supported by interactive and supported learning activities. It was funded by an ESRC Impact Acceleration Award.
