This chapter discusses tourism industrial development and multinational corporations, in particular the case of productivity spillovers in malaysia. It has been published in the title 'Tourism local dystems and networking' which focuses on the role of networking, cooperation and partnership in destination management in response to the changing environment of the tourism industry.
