Abstract

An X-ray crystallographic study of the title compound, (1), shows it to consist of two structural isomers, one, (1A), with a planar (LiN)2 ring structure provided by µ-amido ligands, but the other,(1B), with an (LiO)2 ring due to previously unobserved bridging by the oxygen of formally neutral ligand.
