Abstract

This article considers the attitudes of pupils in Primary 6 and 7 (aged 9-11 years old) towards activities used in modern language (ML) lessons in Scotland. It explores the pupils’ attitudes to speaking, listening, reading and writing activities as well as differences between genders among the pupils involved in research undertaken in Scotland.
