Abstract
We present novel experimental results on the dynamics of a 1550 nm vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) under polarised optical injection for temperatures ranging from 20°C to 60°C. Only one theoretical study of the temperature sensitivity of optically-injected VCSELs has been reported [1], while previous experimental investigations have been confined to room temperature for devices at 850 nm [2] and 1550 nm [3].
