Abstract

Interprofessional education (IPE) is acknowledged across the world as a useful means of creating interaction between professionals as they develop their skills, preparing them for the working environment. As with all learning, it takes place across a person’s entire career from undergraduate to postgraduate and into continuing professional development. The General Pharmaceutical Council recognises this and has made IPE a requirement in undergraduate teaching programmes.
