Abstract

A novel based on the life of 1820 Scottish settler, Thomas Pringle, known as the father of South African poetry. He is resurrected in the C21 alongside HInza his adopted native son, Mary Prince whose history as a slave Pringle had published, and a character lifted from Virginia Woolf's Orlando.
