Spontaneous optical pattern formation

Research output: Contribution to conferencePaperpeer-review

Abstract

A brief review of the state of the art of the control of spontaneous pattern formation in nonlinear optics is presented. In particular, we outline the differences between controlling chaos in time and its generalization to the spatio-temporal domain. Different techniques are reviewed and compared.
