Abstract
Presentation is in English. It introduces six projects involving international collaboration from varied educational settings around Scotland:
•More than just Play: Learner–led international education eTwinning project involving multiple international partners. Received a Quality Label, a National eTwinning Award and also an European Quality Label.
•Culture in a box: A penpal project with a cultural twist between primary schools in Scotland and Spain.
•The Virtual Exchange Teacher Programme: Delivering live online Mandarin lessons from China to Scottish schoolchildren.
•Digital Fairy Tales: collaborative storytelling project between primary schools in Scotland and Spain.
•Exploring the Endless Possibilities of an Interdisciplinary Approach to Language Learning: Key Action 2 Erasmus+ project with schools in Italy and France. The Scottish school involved was shortlisted as a finalist in the Scottish Education Awards 2020 Internationalisation and Languages category.
•Generation Global: Key Action 2 Three year Erasmus+ project with colleagues in SCILT, Denmark and Norway to effect attitudinal change in schools, businesses and wider society regarding the importance of languages, developing a series of toolkits containing information and resources for these key audiences.
