Abstract

This paper introduces SCAMP, the Scottish Collections Access Management Portal, a collaborative tool aimed at supporting collaborative collection management across Scottish institutions. SCAMP integrates with SCONE (Scottish Collections Network Extension) to provide a distributed mechanism for maintaining accurate collection level research discovery and "landscaping" features. The implications of SCAMP in fostering a distributed digital library is explored and demonstration of SCAMP is provided.
