Abstract

This report meets the requirements of the milestone D4.2. The report demonstrates simulation of the SAMULET DB-SPF demonstration component using the finite element software ABAQUS Standard which is an Implicit solution scheme. The relevant material properties and the ranges required to model Ti-6Al-4V alloys are identified using the model. Recommendations are listed.
