Abstract

Since the early 80s, many harmonic extraction techniques have been published in the literature but there is a lack of publications which review harmonic current extraction techniques for researchers and engineers in the field of active filters. In this paper, classification of harmonic extraction techniques (time-based and frequency-based) is presented, giving a brief explanation of the techniques classified under each category and their reference source.
