Residential Tenancies: Private and Social Renting in Scotland

Peter Robson

Research output: Book/ReportBook

Abstract

The third edition of this text on the complex fields of public and private sector letting takes full account of legislative and common law developments, including the new forms. The appendix includes examples of leases and specific advice regarding typical problems encountered by both landlord and tenant in practice. Since devolution there has been a torrent of legislation passed through the Scottish Parliament in relation to housing. This has included the Housing (Scotland) Acts in 2001, 2006, and 2010, as well as the Anti-Social Behaviour (Scotland) Act 2004 and the Private Rented Housing (Scotland) Act 2011. Expert author Peter Robson who worked on the previous editions of this title in 1994 and 1998 has tackled all changed since those dates for this new, entirely current 3rd edition of Residential Tenancies.
