Abstract
The core of this brief session will present an overview of the curation and preservation workflow for research data currently implemented by the Research Data Management & Sharing Service at the University of Strathclyde. In particular it will examine the effectiveness of pairing PURE as a data repository with Archivematica as a data curation tool to deliver a practical framework for managing, distributing and preserving research data. The session will highlight the accomplishments as well as the limitations inherent in each system, and how - or if - their combination serves the particular data issues characteristic of a predominately STEM based technological university.
