Abstract

The autonomous, relative orbit determination (OD) of a spacecraft constellation using intersatellite range measurements has been widely investigated because it is an imperative approach to enable a reduction in ground-based tracking requirements, and hence cost. One fundamental question in relative OD is which orbit elements can be obtained using only intersatellite range measurements.
