Regioselective Pauson-Khand processes with olefins possessing extended phosphonates

Abstract

Olefins possessing tethered β-functionalised phosphonate functionality have been shown to be effective cyclisation partners within intermolecular Pauson-Khand processes. The optimised protocol described facilitates intermolecular cyclisations with high levels of olefinic regiocontrol.
