N2 - A method for realization of the regime of non-resonant trapping of electrons in a free electron maser (FEM)-oscillator is proposed and theoretically studied. A possibility to achieve a high (over 50%) electron efficiency and a very weak sensitivity to the electron-beam quality is demonstrated for a moderately relativistic mm-wavelength FEM.
