Abstract

The failure to meet time-scales and cost objectives of supporting the converged and multidimensional Information and Communication Technology (ICT) projects has been considered to be the main concern for most of the telecommunication companies. The telecommunications companies felt the requirement to reduce the prices and improve the quality of service. The ICT projects are usually parts of a business process that is expected to improve the company's performance by reducing the cost of storing, accessing, and exchanging information. The ITC projects within the telecommunications industry are characterized by some multiple functional aspects, including converged and complex interface and diversity of user requirements to achieve a desired business objective. The standard methods for ICT deployment and delivery provide a framework to manage the deployment by providing a series of elements such as templates and procedures to manage the project.
