title = "Properties of textured piezoceramics measured with miniature samples",
abstract = "Ultrasonic transducers depend on the piezoelectric material{\textquoteright}s elastic-piezoelectric-dielectric (EPD) properties. Textured piezoceramics show promise, with improved electromechanical properties nearing those of single crystals, but there have been very few reports on the full characterization of their EPD matrices. This study utilizes two methods for obtaining the EPD matrix of two compositions of textured piezoceramics. Composition A is analyzed using the IEEE standard method, while Composition B uses a new, simplified approach combining electrical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and an optimization algorithm based on finite element analysis (FEA). Single element transducer simulations show that both textured piezoceramic compositions outperform conventional PZT5A, highlighting textured piezoceramics as a strong candidate for advanced ultrasonic applications.",
