Abstract
The review was primarily designed to help inform future work of the ihub’s Person-centred Design and Improvement Team which help people working in health and social care in Scotland to take a person-centred approach to improving the services they deliver.
The evidence is considered in two parts in this review. A summary from a quality improvement perspective is given in part 1 from the Evidence and evaluation for Improvement Team. The breadth and depth of literature relevant to person-centred care considered as part of the commission is reviewed in part 2 including the approaches associated with current key initiatives being implemented in Scotland.
