Abstract
In this paper, we compare a number of overlap-save based frequency domain implementations of the generalised sidelobe canceller (GSC). A direct realisation offers a considerably reduced complexity compared to a time domain broadband GSC, but suffers from slow convergence. We demonstrate that a modification of the constraint setup can overcome this slow convergence without sacrificing other performance parameters.
