Abstract

Having spent most of my working lifetime measuring fluorescence lifetimes the phrase “how time flies” has a special poignancy for me, but here I am at the end of my 5 year tenure as Editor-in-Chief of Measurement Science and Technology and they certainly have been exciting times!
