Abstract
The UK constitution is creaking. It might barely be audible under the din of political scandal in Scotland and Northern Ireland, the rise of Reform as a (credible?) party of government and opposition in England, Wales and Scotland, the ongoing and still unfolding impacts of Brexit on the island of Ireland and the transition of power taking place inside Number 10 Downing Street. But listen in; listen carefully.
