Abstract
We investigate the nonlocal effects of dispersion and loss on entangled photon pairs. These effects modify the coincidence properties in fourth-order interference. Absorption can increase or decrease the width of coincidence-count distributions. It can also wash out fourth-order interference by providing ''which-way'' information.
