N2 - The present Proceedings contains some of the materials from the “2010 ICTP International Advanced Workshop on the Frontiers of Plasma Physics” which was held at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Trieste, Italy during the period 5–16 July 2010. The main focus of the scientific program was on fundamentals of multiscale turbulence and coherent nonlinear structures in space and laboratory plasmas, wave-wave and wave-particle interactions, intense photon-photon and photon-plasma interactions, plasma based high-energy charged particle accelerators, collective interactions in highenergy density plasmas, applications of plasma physics in medicine, plasma-assisted nanotechnology (e.g. nanostructures in dense quantum systems), and dusty plasmas for environmental sciences.
