Mutual inductance parameter monitoring method for magnetic network energy routers in AC/DC hybrid microgrids

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contribution book

Abstract

The mutual inductance parameters of the magnetic network energy router (MNER) are determined by the magnetic core material, winding structure, and magnetic reluctance of the magnetic network transformer. These factors can be dynamically adjusted in response to external conditions and are not fixed values. The change in mutual inductance can cause the preset power distribution ratio to fail, resulting in sudden fluctuations in port voltage and current. In severe cases, it may trigger protection mechanisms, causing equipment to stop operating or causing local grid disturbances. Therefore, this paper proposes a mutual inductance parameter monitoring method, which implements mutual inductance parameter monitoring based on the MNER power model and the recursive least squares method, ensuring the accuracy of power distribution. The simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed monitoring method.
