Abstract
This module comprises a set of arguments in support of introducing inquiry aimed at science teacher educators and their students as prospective teachers of Physics. It recommends a limited, manageable input to ITE, delivered over either a one year postgraduate teaching qualification or through the duration of an undergraduate qualification to teach Science/Physics as a specialist subject.
