Abstract

Method for plastic structure formation of materials consisting in single-time or multiple deformation of billet by its extrusion with counterpressure through variable-area channel with conservation of initial form and dimensions of billet after each deformation cycle. The deformation of billet is conducted in the mode of decrease of dimensions of cross section in one direction with simultaneous increase in other cross section. In this case, during extrusion the counterpressure of value not less than the yield point of the work billet is applied to the billet end.
