Abstract

This report provides suggestions on the role of the NSS as an enhancement tool for learning and teaching. The report aims to: encourage and enable institutions to reflect on their own use of the NSS; supply an overview of institutional practice, covering the broad range of issues that arise when using the NSS as part of the enhancement process; provide a range of specific examples of NSS use
describe the challenges and difficulties of trying to use the NSS as an enhancement tool; promote critical reflection and discussion on the role and potential of the NSS.
