Abstract
Comments on the opinion of Lord Braid in JWE v LGBT Youth Scotland [2026] CSOH 6 and seeks to argue that Scots law is capable of either identifying 'grooming' as an actionable delict in line with the principles of the actio iniuriarum, or extending the iniuria-based delict of 'seduction' to cover instances of grooming, because of the flexible structure of the law of delict.
