Abstract

What role did (or not) communication material design play in government communication responses to public health during the pandemic and how did countries develop communication material? Challenges were faced with communication design (message framing and visual design) which impacted adoption of Covid-19 protective measures. What can we learn for the future in terms of designing public health communication material to support global health? Case examples will be drawn from several countries across the world.
