Abstract
The international community is currently facing a number of increasing global environmental challenges that need strong and innovative legal responses. International Environmental Law is a relatively new subject in most law degrees and postgraduate programmes are flourishing in this field. However, especially in the Spanish speaking academic field, there is a lack of comprehensive high-level academic books on International Environmental Law. This project aims to fill this gap with a book in Spanish that may be used by universities and research centres that have, or are planning to develop, Environmental Law postgraduate programmes, which include an international dimension to their curricula.
