Abstract

This week Laura our RKEO attended the Digital Health and Care Conference organised by Holyrood Connect and sponsored by InterSystems. This year there was a strong focus on the paradigm shift of care from centralised systems into the peripheries of the community and the need for services to integrate more widely. Over the course of the two days, there were various speakers each contributing to the theme of integrated and person-centred care. Our Programme manager Chaloner Chute gave an ‘art of the possible’ presentation demonstrating how the re-design of services could impact care and specifically how this could benefit the citizen at the heart of the care model. Several break-out sessions were also held to give focussed insights into the work that various groups are doing in the digital and care landscape in Scotland.
