Abstract

This paper describes the real-time, virtual-physical simulation environment developed to validate a cloud-based Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS). This work forms part of the ‘ScotCLUE’ project which resides within the wider ERA-NET Smart Energy Systems CLUE consortium. CLUE aims to develop and validate a tool kit, across five European demonstration sites, which supports the implementation of sustainable local energy while considering future ICT architectures and the interaction with surrounding electricity systems.
