Ineffective interventions: domestic abuse, young people and gender

    Research output: Other contribution

    Abstract

The author presents data from research conducted with 77 young men and women in schools in Glasgow which looked at domestic violence and constructions/ideas of 'masculinity'. The findings demonstrate that domestic violence is still endorsed by young men and women as a legitimate way of practising heterosexual interpersonal relationships.
