Ineffective interventions? domestic abuse, young people and gender

    Research output: Other contribution

    Abstract

The political and financial commitment of the government and Scottish Executive, as illustrated through public awareness campaigns and interventions, suggests that domestic violence/abuse is recognised as a significant social problem. Evidence, however, suggests that violence and abuse in interpersonal relationships is not decreasing in prevalence
    or severity.
