Abstract

This project was commissioned by Building Standards Division (BSD) in November 2010 and was undertaken by the Mackintosh Environmental Architecture Research Unit and 55o North Architecture between December 2010 and February 2011. The scope of this project was to undertake initial investigations into the development of a guidance document and related information for occupants of low energy homes, which could be included in building regulations to support sustainability within the Scottish Building Standards. The project aimed to develop appropriate ideas and produce an effective set of mechanisms for communicating these to occupants
