Abstract

The study discussed in this article examined how adopting lean manufacturing
practices can generate environmental benefits for a large multinational automotive manufacturer. We also investigated how managers in charge of the production and environmental areas at the study company view the relationship between lean and green in everyday manufacturing operations.
