Abstract
This special issue includes a collection of empirically sound work, which research and conceptualize global knowledge work from different theoretical and methodological perspectives. Situating the employment of high-skilled workers in a multi-national context, the articles in this collection offer insights into different layers of experiences of global knowledge workers and structures, which shape context of global knowledge work. As guest editors, we hope that this special issue will fuel the academic debate and research on the intersectionality of equality and employment in an increasingly globalizing world across different national and organizational settings
