Abstract
This book provides a narrative of the planning and delivery of legacy associated with the single largest sporting event in Scotland's history. It draws on first experience within the legacy planning and evaluation teams to explore key debates and concepts around event legacy planning, illustrated through the lens of the 2014 Games as experienced by spectators and those watching from a distance. This original and unique insight provides behind the scenes and critical analysis of the journey of event legacy planning before, during and after the event.
