Abstract
La tumba de Antígona (1967) is considered one of María Zambrano’s most emblematic works. Her multiple re-writings of this myth indicate that the author herself also awards her reflections on Antigone an important place in her thought. This article contends that the analysis of the Zambrano’s genesis of Antigone through her published texts, but also through her unpublished manuscripts, reveals the existence of yet another project about Antigone. Although it will remain forever incomplete, exploring the contents of this project, as this article will do, will offer us a more thorough understanding of Zambrano’s Antigone.
